​We manage a short-let unit in Reading

We currently manage a short-let property in Reading. This is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat with a large open-plan kitchen and living area, plus a parking space within a gated complex. We’ve been managing this property for over four years, taking care of everything from guest communication and booking management through to coordinating cleaners and maintenance teams.


Over the years, we’ve dealt with a wide range of situations that come with short-let management, including incidents such as a broken oven door, arranging replacement gate fobs, and handling unexpected water leaks. Alongside this property, we’ve also managed three others within our portfolio, which has given us a strong understanding of both landlord responsibilities and the realities of dealing with guests, tenants, and day-to-day property issues.

It has given us hands-on exposure to multiple areas of the market and strengthened our overall understanding of property from both an investment and operational perspective.
