We completed our first flip in St Leonards in 2025. This was a 2-bed first-floor flat that we purchased as an 'ugly duckling' but could immediately see the potential in.

What was done?
As soon as the purchase completed, clearance works began and the refurbishment got underway. The kitchen ceiling was repaired with new wiring and a new ceiling installed, the boiler was replaced, and damaged areas were fully made good, including plastering and repainting. One of the bedrooms was redecorated early on and instantly looked transformed, and the property was brought through a full renovation to a clean, modern standard throughout, ready for sale.
The flat went on to the market as a share-of-freehold property featuring a lounge with bay window, fitted kitchen, two well-proportioned bedrooms, and a family bathroom, along with free parking to the rear and permit parking available.
After what felt like a real rollercoaster of a project - from a long purchase process through to learning every step of the way - we were delighted (and relieved!) to complete and sell it within our planned timeframe.
