This was Helen's very first flip project
As H&D, we completed our first flip in 2025. However, Helen’s journey into property refurbishment actually began much earlier, back in 2007, when she renovated a 2-bed house while also raising two young children.
It was a real challenge (and adventure) at the time - balancing family life with a hands-on renovation - and it gave her a genuine understanding of what’s involved in transforming a property. That experience quietly planted the seed for doing it again one day.

What was done?
This project involved a full house renovation. Helen updated and improved every area to bring the property up to a good, modern standard - keeping things practical, clean, and appealing for a quick and successful sale. The focus was on making the home feel fresh and ready for its next owner, without overcomplicating the finish.
